Special Events

The Ontario Chapter APG sponsors a variety of projects. Some projects have been day-long seminars or workshops geared not only to our membership, but to the wider genealogical community and/or the general public. We usually feature a table in the Expo Hall (exhibit and sales area) during the annual Conference of the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS). We have held pre-conference days in conjunction with OGS, as well as stand-alone special events. After some of these events we have been able to make donations of relevant books or other materials to libraries or archives within Ontario. Ontario Chapter held a successful afternoon of Professional Business Skill workshops prior to the 2016 Ontario Genealogical Society Conference in Toronto, Ontario.
